whispering sweet somethings

When we walked the “Heart Walk” at the Princess Tea, it reminded me of the tunnel at Pergamum. Nancy and I were there in 1989. This is the site of a famous healing center in ancient times; actually where the symbol for medicine was formed. The staff with the snakes.

The tunnel at Pergamum is the most interesting thing. The patient would walk slowly through the darkened, cool tunnel which feels so good in the first place in the extremely hot sun of Western Turkey. There were holes in the “roof” where ancient “life coaches” would whisper encouraging words as people passed. I know this sounds like a
Tony Robbins firewalk or something, but it must have been successful. You aren’t known as a healing center unless people are actually…healed.

You can again see the mind, emotional, physical connection that God designed. Heart, soul, and mind, as it were.
