Are conservatives better educated?

The work of one of President Obama's leading intellectual influences, Reinhold Niebuhr, isn't even part of most university curriculum anywhere. He is considered too conservative or is simply unknown, though he was labeled the "Greatest Theologian of the 20th Century in America," by Time magazine, of all places. He actually had a tremendous influence over one of his students, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well.
