God trusts

2 Chronicles 7:14
14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

God speaks to Solomon in a dream. “Humble yourself,” “pray,” “seek” and “turn,” are all action verbs. Our words are important, and yet it takes more than words. We actually want what God wants and we are willing to follow up on this desire with our actions.

Today, we are those God calls into his kingdom life. Our “land” is where God allows us influence. The more he can trust us to use his power for good, the more he gives.

How have you made yourself available lately to learn from Jesus?
