God hears

1 Samuel 7:8

They said to Samuel, "Do not stop crying out to the LORD our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines.”

The Philistines kept providing plenty of drama for God’s people. Of course, the most famous Philistine was Goliath, and we know how he ended up. Yet, the Philistines had been a problem long before the time of Goliath. Many times it appears that God allows this to happen as justice, because of the sin of his people.

To cry out to God during times of trouble is the right direction no matter if you are suffering in spite of your actions or because of them. The source of your help is going to be the same.

How do you suffer today? Tell Him.
