Psalm 69:3
3 I am worn out calling for help;
my throat is parched.
My eyes fail,
looking for my God.
The difference between hopeless and hopeful is God. There is never a time when it is better to give up on God and just accept our circumstances.
As we see in this verse, it doesn’t mean everything is pleasant when we come to God. We may be worn out, hard pressed, and about as discouraged as possible. But this is different than hopeless. Don’t give up. Better days are ahead. Always.
Pray for someone you know who is discouraged today.
